The Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs) and Human Milk Lactoferrin (hmLF) in kēpos are produced through precision fermentation and purified to pharmaceutical-grade standards. These compounds are far less allergenic than typical dairy-based supplements, including colostrum or bovine lactoferrin, and are generally well-tolerated—even by those with sensitivities.
However, due to the nature of the fermentation process, there may be extremely small, trace-level residues of dairy proteins or derivatives, particularly from the lactose base used during HMO fermentation. These traces are well below typical thresholds for reactivity, but we believe in full transparency.
