kēpos was incubated out of, and backed by, the University of Chicago, a globally leading research university. With additional medical advisors across Boston University and Loyola University Chicago, we undergo extensive, and novel, proteomic and metabolomic purity testing out of various microbiome labs. 

The company was founded by students at the University of Chicago who felt a fervor to heal their own digestive issues. They worked at renowned biophysics labs and dealt with Irritable Bowel Syndrome for nearly a decade.
